Cah Sayur Asin (Salted Vegetables)

Cooking Adventures : Cah Sayur Asin
(Salted Vegetables)



Ingredients:
250 g salted vegetables (Sayur Asin)
2 garlic
3 Onion
1 large red chili
2 small red chili
1 tomato
Sugar, salt, sweet soy sauce to taste


Cooking Adventures Guide:
Clean and cut salted vegetables (sayur asin) into small sections.
Cut in thin slices of garlic, onion, large red chili and small red chili.
Cut the tomatoes into small parts.
Heat 3 tablespoon of oil.
Enter the onion, garlic, large red chili, small red chili and tomato.
Mix to wither, and then enter the salted vegetables (sayur asin).
Add 1 cup of water.
Add sugar, salt and sweet soy sauce to taste.
Cook a few minutes.

Cah Sayur Asin (Salted Vegetables) is ready to serve.


Find this unique salted vegetable(sayur asin) taste. Get taste of salt, sweet, spicy, and sour mix into a one. Especially when eaten with rice is still warm, it's quite tasty.

Sayur Asin Baikut

Ingredients:

250 gr Baikut (pork)

250 gr sayur asin

Sugar

Garlic



Cooking Adventures Guide:

Press the garlic.

Clean the pork(baikut) , cut in some pieces.

Cut sayur asin into some pieces.

Heat some water and boil pork until ripe.

Take in garlic, add sayur asin, and add sugar to taste.

Cook in a few minutes.

If you like, you can add jahe and tomatoes in this recipe.

This food usually serves with pork satay.

Lodeh Tewel

Ingredients: 250 gr tewel

½ coconuts

3 cups of water

3 garlic

5 onions

1 red chili

2 cm turmeric

2 hazelnut

1 tablespoon of coriander

Terasi, salt and sugar to taste

Cooking Guide:

First, rasp coconuts, add the water, and press. Take in coconut milk.

Clean tewel and boil in a few minutes, take out.

Mix garlic, onions, chili, turmeric,hazelnut,coriander,and terasi, and then refine them.

Boil water in the pan, add tewel and the mixture of ingredients, wait in few minutes, add the coconut milk, add salt and sugar to taste.

Boil Lodeh in a little fire and stir it. Lodeh Tewel is ready to serve.

Oseng-Oseng Sayur Asin Hitam

Ingredients:

100 gr meat

250 gr sayur asin hitam

Garlic

Ketchup

Sugar to taste


Cooking Adventures Guide:

Cut sayur asin hitam in thiny pieces.

Cut meat into small pieces.

Press garlic.

Heat 2 tablespoon of oil, take in meat, and cook until ripe.

Then add sayur asin hitam, Ketchup and sugar to taste, cook in a few minutes.

Oseng-Oseng sayur asin hitam is ready to serve.

Orak Arik

Ingredients:

250 gr carrots

100 gr beans

2 eggs

3 Garlic

Salt and sugar to taste


Cooking Adventures Guide:

Clean the carrots and beans.

Cut the carrots and beans in tiny pieces.

Press the garlic.

Heat 2 tablespoon of oil, take in garlic, and add carrots and beans.

Then take in a few of water, add salt and sugar to taste.

Cook in a few minutes, take in the eggs, stir it and cook in a few minutes until there is no water. Orak arik is ready to serve.

Pecek Terong

Ingredients:

4 terong

Small Chili

1 tomato

Terasi ,salt and sugar to taste



Cooking Adventures Guide:

Clean the terong, cut into some pieces and fry them.

Make a sambal. With 1 teaspoon of oil, fry small chili and tomato in a few minutes.

Take in chili and tomatoes in cobek, add terasi, sugar and salt to taste, then refine them.

Add terong and press in sambal.

Pecek terong is ready to serve.

Cah Tahu Kecambah

Ingredients:

5 Tofu

250 gr kecambah

Garlic

Salt and sugar to taste



Cooking Adventures Guide:

First, press the garlic.

Cut tofu in some small square pieces, frying them half done.

Clean kecambah.

Take 2 tablespoon of oil, heat it. Take in garlic; add tofu and kecambah, stir it.

Give some water, add sugar and salt to taste.

Cooking in a few minutes, Cah Tahu Kecambah is ready to serve.

Oyong Mix with Eggs is one of some foods that my children likes. This food is very simple to cook, and we just need a few minute to cook, it is about 5 minutes.

Ingredients:
4 pc oyong
2 eggs
2 garlic
water
salt and sugar to taste

Cooking Adventures Guide:
First, clean oyong and cut into small pieces.
Refine garlic. Whip the eggs.
Heat one teaspoon of oil and take in garlic, then add oyong, cook in 1 minute.
Boil the water and take in oyong, add salt and sugar to taste, and add eggs .
Cooking in 3 minutes. This food is ready to serve.

Dadar Jagung

Cooking Adventures: Dadar Jagung

Dadar jagung is Indonesian food, many people like this food, it’s better served with Sayur Bayam. I’ve read in Jawa Pos newspaper, that Christine Bagnall, native speaker from San Francisco, United States, is an English First (EF) teacher in my town, for the first time come to Indonesia, she eat Dadar Jagung and she very like this food. The first Indonesia vocabulary that she want to be able to speak is Dadar Jagung. This is the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 egg

2 piece garlic

2 sweet corn,

Sugar and salt to taste

1 cm kunci

3 spoon of wheat powder

Oil to fry

Cooking Adventures Guide:

Sweet corn is refined, or cut off into a small pieces. Mix with egg, kunci, sugar, salt and wheat. Get one spoonful , fry until the colour is golden brown. Serve with Sayur Bayam.

Sayur Bayam

Cooking Adventures: Sayur Bayam

Sayur Bayam
is Indonesian Cooking. It is very simple, just need very little time to cook.

Ingredients:

2 sweet corn
2 cup sliced spinach
1 red onion
1 cm "kunci"
1 TBSP salt
2 TBSP sugar, you can add as you like


Cooking Adventures Guide:

With water, boil the sweet corn. Then add red onion, kunci, and spinach.
Add salt and sugar. Serve "Sayur Bayam" with "Dadar Jagung".
