Do you like potatoes? Let cook the Potato Patties ( Perkedel Kentang ). The word perkedel was derrived from Dutch frikadel. This food is usually served with a soup or yellow rice ( nasi kuning ) . This time I mix the potatoes with meat.
I don’t use pepper, onion and celery as usual because my children don’t like it. This is simple Meat- Potato Patties ( Perkedel Kentang Daging ), but still yummy. I am very happy because my children like it very well.
Meat- Potato Patties Recipes
4 potatoes ( medium)
150 grams of minced beef
1 egg, beaten
2 garlic cloves, blend
salt to taste
Oil for frying
How to cook Meat - Potato Patties:
1 . Peel and wash the potatoes , then cut into some pieces .
2 . Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes until cooked , mashed them well.
3 . Combine mashed potatoes with minced beef, garlic and salt.
4. Shape the potatoes into a slightly flattened oval form.
5 . Dip the patties into the beaten egg.
6 . Deep-fried until golden brown.
Done ! Meat - Potato Patties is ready to served with chicken soup and rice, or just as snack with tomato sauce.
